2nd Austrian Brass Band Championships - Facts & Stories
- Takes place on November 8th at the Kulturzentrum Bräuhaus Eferding in Upper Austria.
- The brass bands compete in two categories under the eyes of an international jury. Members of the jury: Tom Brevik (Norway), Armin Bachmann (Switzerland), Martin Schädlich (Germany)
- The winner of the 2nd National Brass Band Contest will represent Austria at the European Brassband Championships 2016 in Lille/France.
- In 2014, Brass Band Fröschl Hall won the 2nd place with 93 points right behind the local hero Brassband Oberösterreich.
- All in all, three brass brands from the Tyrol took part in the competition, the highest number among the nine federal states: Brass Band Fröschl Hall, R.E.T. Brassband, Brassband Tirol.
